A 501(c)3 Non-profit Charitable Organization
Since 2010, HOPE & HEALING AT HILLENGLADE (HHH) has served over 4,000 of our Active Duty Military, Veterans, First Responders and their families free-of-charge. Our Equine-Assisted Programs and Events offer a safe place for our brave Warriors to...
RENEW HEARTS - RESTORE RELATIONSHIPS - REBUILD LIVES
Since we opened our doors in 2010, HOPE & HEALING AT HILLENGLADE has served over 4,000 Active Military, Veterans, First Responders and their families through Equine-Assisted Programs entirely free-of-charge.
HHH is a safe and confidential environment at our private farm 15 minutes from downtown Nashville to embrace the therapeutic wonder of horses.
Although we serve all needs, the HHH Mission continues to change the lives of those suffering from PTSD, suicidal ideation and other life-threatening issues.
Our HHH Team includes professional leadership, HHH-Certified Horse Handlers, and a caring group of volunteers who help host on the farm while doting-on our rescue animals.... What a team!!!
Equine-Assisted Therapy has been proven since the 1980s to successfully aide individuals beyond the standard “medical” approach. It is also critical to de-stigmatize “getting help” while maintaining confidentiality for our heroes and their families....
HHH is that “safe place”.
HOPE & HEALING AT HILLENGLADE , a 501(c)3 Non-profit Charitable Organization, provides
(free-of-charge) Equine-Assisted Programs that offer time away in the country for our
Active Service Members, Veterans, First Responders and their families to enjoy the
Therapeutic Wonder of Horses.
The truth is, we are losing well over 25 of our Heroes DAILY TO SUICIDE...
Divorce rates in the Military continue to soar...
THE NEED IS GREAT - THE TIME IS NOW.
Join us to help those who have sacrificed so much to protect our safety and freedoms!!!
"A few years ago, I decided to come off of all of my Psychotropic drugs – I have taken some type of substance from the Military or VA since 1986. When I came to HHH, I just decided to let whatever happens happen and avoid trying to control anything. The horses helped me receive something that I didn’t expect. They gave something to me that I haven’t been able to get in my counselor’s office. Thank you, HHH, for taking the time to allow God to work with me through the horses."

For Military, First Responders & their Families
Our one-on-one to group Equine-Assisted Sessions are offered free-of-charge for Active Duty Military, Veterans, First Responders, and their families. We work alongside Fort Campbell, Veteran Courts, Operation Stand-down, The VA - among others. Again, since 2010, we've served over 4,000 of our Heroes and their loved ones... What an honor!!!
Empowerment Transition Program
The HHH Veteran's Empowerment Transition Program offers onsite living, sessions and training for sponsored Veterans requiring more lengthy or intensive care and stays at the farm. Our graduates from this program all have learned a new vocation with horses, and several have stayed on to help manage the farm and barns (as well as becoming HHH Certified Handlers). Although, all current openings are filled, new participants can apply for future consideration and sponsorship.... Hope to see you soon!
HHH Rescue Program
Some of us - whether we're two-legged or four-legged, need to be rescued from abuse, pain
and, in horse - Sister Sarah's case, overwork and starvation. This beautiful Belgian Mare came to HHH full of anger and depression due to her maltreatment (who could blame her?)... She had a glorious six years here on the farm being loved, and loving everyone back - ten fold!!!
For Private and Group Equine-Assisted Sessions
We are now offering private HHH Equine-Assisted Sessions to the public. These sessions are tailor-made to address the group or individual's specific needs . All revenue generated from private Equine-Assisted Sessions goes directly to help fund our non-profit activities serving our Active Duty Military, Veterans, First Responders and their families completely free-of-charge.
